Tangosol's Purdy Named Rock Star by JavaOne
Cameron Purdy, CEO of Tangosol, the leading provider of reliable data grid solutions, was named one of three "Rock Star" speakers for the annual JavaOne Conference.
JavaOne, May 8-11 in San Francisco, is regarded as the industry's leading Java event, highlighting the latest innovations and successes in Java technology. The conference's Rock Stars are recognized as outstanding speakers and experts in their areas, selected by their peers. Purdy will speak on "The Top 10 Ways to Botch Enterprise Java Application Scalability and Reliability" at the conference. Purdy is the founder of Tangosol, which since 2000 has led the industry in data grid computing solutions with its innovative Coherence Data Grid. He is the Specification Lead for JSR 107 (jCache) in the Java Community Process program, which promotes the evolution of the Java platform through the international Java developer community. Purdy is also a contributor to the XML specification and is co-author of a component-based development patent.
