LCI Conference set for May, paper submission deadline extended

The 8th LCI International Conference on High Performance Clustered Computing is organized for users, administrators, and developers of clustered computers for high performance computing. The conference will be held May 14–17, 2007, in South Lake Tahoe, California, USA, at the Embassy Suites Hotel. The program committee has extended the deadline for submitting technical papers until January 5, 2007. Featured speakers will include Don Becker, CTO of Penguin Computing, Horst Simon, director, National Energy Research Scientific Computing Center, and Peter J. Ungaro, president and CEO of Cray Inc. The technical program will include both peer-reviewed paper presentations and discipline- and industry-specific sessions offering researchers and industry leaders the opportunity to present their experiences with applications, tools, user environments, and administration of large-scale clusters. Presentations from industry are specifically invited. The conference program committee is soliciting novel papers, insightful technical presentations and practical tutorials on a broad range of topics related to systems integration, operation and support, end user applications, tools, education, and experiences.
