Michael Crocker Named Chief Operating Officer of Themis Computer

Crocker, 56, to the position of chief operating officer. Throughout his career, Crocker has directed organizational teams responsible for providing high-availability, high-performance computing solutions in mission-critical computing environments. Crocker has more than fifteen years in the network services and information systems industries, in both domestic and international markets. Prior to joining Themis Computer, Crocker worked as chief of staff, DRS Technologies, Inc., a military electronics integrator and OEM, for the last seven years. Prior to DRS, Crocker was with the U.S. Navy where he was responsible for one of the Navy's most successful procurement program offices, PMS 440. In that capacity, Crocker oversaw the Navy's Q-70 program, a groundbreaking and highly successful introduction of commercial off the shelf (COTS) electronics into mission critical military systems. Crocker has a MBA degree from the National Defense University of Defense Systems Management and a M.S. in Computer Science degree from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California. At Themis, Crocker will be responsible for the sales and manufacturing of the company's embedded computing products, COTS-based servers, and its recently announced Quorum real-time resource management software. Crocker will leverage his experience, gained at DRS and the U.S. Navy, to develop and implement new business development strategies and operational processes, to increase Themis' sales and revenues.
