SilverStorm Technologies and Small Tree Communications today announced the renewal of a channel partnership. Small Tree Communications has been delivering SilverStorm InfiniBand interconnect solutions to the Mac marketplace over the past year, bringing their high performance computing expertise to bear on the most demanding programs. "Once we had decided to move forward with Apple Xserve for our project at the University's Center for Plasma Science and Technology, Apple recommended that we contact Small Tree Communications for information on InfiniBand and how it could help enhance our system's performance," stated Dr. Lewis Johnson, assistant professor of physics at Florida A & M.
