Tech Soft America (TSA), the leading provider of graphics components to the CAD/CAM/CAE software industry, and Simmetrix, the leading provider of component software for simulation modeling and simulation-based design, today announced a strategic partnership whereby TSA's HOOPS 3D Application Framework (HOOPS/3dAF) will be integrated with Simmetrix technologies to create the new Simmetrix's Simulation Application Suite. The two companies' component libraries currently combine to serve a broad base of leading software vendors developing products for CAD CAD/CAM/CAE applications. The Simulation Application Suite, developed and marketed by Simmetrix, combines the power of the Simmetrix components for CAD data access, meshing and simulation with the high-performance graphics of TSA's HOOPS/3dAF. The combined solution will provide developers of CAE/Simulation applications with a high-level scripting interface to quickly deliver customized products containing a full range of CAD data import, advanced meshing and powerful display capabilities.
