Instrumental, Inc. is seeking a Lead Technologist interested in being a part of a strong enterprise computing company. This position will eventually include all aspects of technical computing activities. A complete understanding of HPC computing, including I/O architectures and requirement analysis, SAN configurations, and performance optimization is essential to support the data intensive environments of our customers. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of industry experience in the following areas: § System integration and capacity planning § File system and HSM architecture, concepts, analysis and tuning § System and application benchmarking and optimization § Project planning § Strong analytical skills § Programming (C/C++, FORTRAN, UNIX, NT, etc.) “Hands-on” experience with enterprise configurations of platforms such as Sun, SGI, HP, Cray, etc. is required. Application experience would be a plus. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and MUST meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
