Discreet invites the public to its Data Overdrive and Open House events that will showcase Discreet's solutions for the post-production, broadcast and games markets. Guest speakers and demos will highlight the capabilities of Discreet's flint, flame and smoke systems, as well as 3ds max, cleaner and combustion software. Participants can choose from many of the in-depth afternoon seminars on key topics such as "Post-Production in High Definition" (flame, smoke and 3ds max), "Building award-winning promos & station brands" (smoke, flint and 3ds max for broadcasters), and "3ds max winning in games." Evening overviews will also take place, during which Discreet will highlight the very best of the afternoon sessions, host inspiring guest presenters, and showcase the latest releases of its nonlinear editing, visual effects/compositing, and animation solutions. The Data Overdrive tour will be held in Montreal, Toronto, Washington DC, Dallas, Denver, San Francisco and Seattle throughout the fall, while Los Angeles and New York will host Discreet Open House events on Thursday, November 11th and 18th respectively.
