Building on this key milestone, Quantum also announced today that the StorNext Q-Series Storage systems and the StorNext AEL500 Archive appliance are now generally available for purchase.

Base model list price begins at $96,000.

Additionally, Quantum is now shipping the StorNext AEL500 Archive, a cost-effective tiered storage solution with long-term data integrity checking and slot-based pricing. The midrange StorNext AEL500, as well as the StorNext AEL6000 for enterprise environments, is available now through Quantum and its worldwide channel partners. Base model list price for the StorNext AEL500 is $101,000.
