Randy Gayer Joins WFI as Head of Technical Services

Wireless Facilities  announced that Mr. Randy Gayer has joined the company as a senior vice president of technical services. Gayer is an accomplished, high performing operations executive with extensive experience in delivering network technical services. Gayer brings with him an in-depth knowledge of telecom operations with substantial experience in turnkey networks, wireless and fiber deployment, business development and operations management.

In his new role, Gayer is responsible for the company’s technical services delivery for North America and CALA region where he will focus on delivering network installation and commissioning services as well as site development services to WFI’s customers. Gayer is also responsible for growing the company’s technical services offering into new customer segments such as cable, enterprise and government; with an expanded focus on M2M and IT services.

Prior to joining WFI, Gayer held several senior positions, most recently with Velocitel, Inc. He served as President of Operations and Chief Operations Officer and most recently was the President of Broadband and Alternative System Services. Prior to Velocitel, Gayer served as the Vice President at MVP Inc. where he was also the partial owner of the company. He has also worked with Whalen and Company, as the Regional Director of Operations Midwest and Northeast Regions.

Gayer received his education from University of Michigan with a BGS Degree in Business and Psychology.
