Intilop Awarded Patent for Unique Hardware Search Technology

Intilop has announced that their team members were awarded a patent with more than 12 claims for developing a unique CAM design technique in conjunction with optimized design techniques that uses FPGA/ASIC hardware to parse large-scale moving datasets. Intilop's method takes tens of nanoseconds as compared with hundreds of nanoseconds or microseconds that most other hardware search engines take.

A variation of this very high speed search technology is used in the design of their flagship 10 Gbit TCP Offload engine. Intilop's 10 Gbit TCP offload engine is essentially 20 Gbit (full duplex) and delivers highest throughput and least latency in the industry.

"This technology, in addition to 10 Gbit, has applications in other very speed traffic processing in networks that run at 40 Gbit and beyond and raises the bar in ultra-fast search techniques. We are already shattering latency and bandwidth records in our network traffic processing engines. The fact that it is also programmable to suite the network speed is highly valuable in realizing maximum benefits at next generation higher speed networks" said K Masood, President and CTO.

Intilop's TCP Offload engines are targeted at markets for developers of FPGAs/ASICs/ASSPs, Network adapters and Very large scale FPGA-SoC IP integration which provide solutions for the end users in financial markets, web servers, email servers, high end servers in Data centers, Government network systems, University network systems.
