TeamHPC Launches First Personal Supercomputer at SC09

TeamHPC will debut MANDA Pro 6700 supercomputer workstation at the next supercomputer conference SC09 in Portland. This new workstation offers the most powerful solution for highly demanding applications in modeling and simulation for science and engineering. It uses the ASUS P6T7 supercomputing motherboard with three NVIDIA GeForce graphics card in a 3-way SLI configuration and an Intel Core i7 Extreme processor. Visit TeamHPC booth #859 at SC09 to see this incredible personal supercomputer.

The motherboard supports up to three NVIDIA Tesla cards and one NVIDIA Quatro card based on the NVIDIA CUDA parallel computing architecture. Each GPU delivers 240 CUDA parallel processing cores which add up to a powerful 4 teraflops of simultaneous computing power. The board also offers a system bus of up to 6.4 GT/s, six DIMM slots for a maximum of 24GB of DDR3 2000 (O.C.) memory, six SATA (3Gb/s) ports, two eSATA ports (Raid 0,1) and two SAS ports (RAID 0,1).

The MANDA Pro 6700 comes fully configured with three NVIDIA GeForce GTX285 GPUs, Intel Core i7 Extreme, and two 640GB 7200 RPM hard drives configured in RAID 0 for faster access. This powerful workstation comes packaged in a minitower quiet design with three year warranty. The MANDA Pro 6700 offers an alternative desktop solution for highly parallel computations in 3D design, modeling and simulation. It also offers an incredible graphics performance for war games training and simulation in the US military.
