Supercomputing Online announces the fourth annual Product of the Year Award
Supercomputing (SC) Online, homepage for the world's high perfromance computing, networking and storage professionals, today announced the winners of the fourth annual Product of the Year Award for 2007. 
SC Online has designated two categories for the 2007 Product of the Year Award: Readers' Choice Award, where winners are based entirely by votes from visitors to the Web site, and Editors' Choice Award, where winners have been determined by votes from the editors. SC Online's Editors' Choice Award, the most prestigious award in the high performance computing industry, is given annually to products in recognition of their outstanding innovation in design, value and performance. Every product we cover is eligible for an award. We give this award to the best products in the industry. However, it's not enough that a product just be better than the competition. An Editors' Choice Award product must also change the competitive landscape of the market, whether through innovative features, exceptional value for the price/performance, remarkable ease of use, or a demonstrable boost to users' productivity. SC Online's Readers' Choice Award serves as a mark of excellence, providing the ultimate recognition from peers within the global supercomputing community.
