Dan Caldwell Promoted to VP of Channel Sales at Scali

Caldwell to Expand Partnerships with Leading ISVs, OEMs, and Resellers World Wide: Scali, the leader in software solutions for high performance Linux clusters, announced today the promotion of Dan Caldwell to Vice President of Channels Sales. Expanding on his work with Hewlett Packard, Silicon Graphics, NEC North America, Linux Networx, Schlumberger, and Liquid Computing, Caldwell will lead the effort to expand Scali's channel base and sales volumes. "Dan has done a tremendous job with our channel partners since joining Scali last summer," said Rob Secontine, Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Scali. "his passionate commitment to Scali's success has been inspiring and we will be looking to him to expand our channel relationships and drive our success with partners even further." Caldwell's career is highlighted by a successful track record in OEM sales and IP licensing at Virage Logic, Phoenix Technologies, Novell and Banyan Systems. Caldwell engaged in enterprise OEM software sales at AT&T Unix Systems Labs, driving sales through leading technology vendors including HP, Microsoft, SCO, IBM, Sun, EMC, and SGI. Dan has a degree in Electrical Engineering from Northern Illinois University and began his career as a microprocessor design engineer at Intel.
