Smiths Aerospace Chooses Altair
Correction:Advanced CAE technology reduces time and costs for aircraft system structural analysis -- Altair Engineering announced today that Smiths Aerospace UK, a leading transatlantic aerospace systems and equipment company, has selected the Altair HyperWorks CAE technology suite to support the development and structural analysis of their aircraft landing systems and components. Smiths selected HyperWorks to improve their engineering department's finite element modeling and visualization efficiency with Altair HyperMesh and plans to incorporate other HyperWorks tools, including HyperMorph and OptiStruct for interactive model morphing and structural optimization.
