APPLICATIONS
Apply now for fellowships at NCSA
Applications are now being accepted for fellowships at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA). Proposals are sought from faculty at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and at institutions around the country for cross-disciplinary collaborations with NCSA staff. The fellowships aim to combine researchers' discipline-specific knowledge with NCSA's R&D expertise to contribute to the creation of the national cyberinfrastructure.
University of Illinois faculty and staff are eligible for the NCSA/UIUC Faculty Fellows Program. NCSA expects to award about a dozen of these fellowships. Deadline for submissions is March 30, 2007. Summer Faculty Fellowships are available to faculty at U.S. institutions other than the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. NCSA expects to award about six of these fellowships. Deadline for submissions is March 16, 2007. Please contact fellowship coordinator Radha Nandkumar with proposal ideas at fellowships@ncsa.uiuc.edu or (217) 244-0650. Proposed collaborations must be discussed with and endorsed by NCSA staff before applications are submitted. For complete information, application guidelines, and online proposal submission, see http://fellowships.ncsa.uiuc.edu.
