Supermicro and Peppercon Form Strategic Partnership

Supermicro Computer, Inc. and Peppercon AG announced they have signed a strategic partnership. Under the alliance, Peppercon has developed and customized a high-performance KVM-over-IP subsystem that Supermicro will integrate in its new line of blade and some rackmount server solutions. Peppercon is Raritan Computer’s OEM business unit and a leading provider of embedded KVM-over-IP modules and subsystems for remote server management. "A high performance embedded KVM-over-IP and system management solution is becoming a key requirement from our customers," said Charles Liang, President & CEO of Supermicro. The solution is based on Peppercon’s KIM technology (Keyboard Video Mouse Integrated Module). The tiny daughter card offers high-performance and high-quality KVM-over-IP management, virtual media, full IPMI 2.0 support, excellent screen redirection and power management.
