Oracle to Showcase 360 Degrees of Cutting-Edge Solutions at OpenWorld

Featuring industry leading technology solutions, Oracle today unveiled its Exhibits 360 Degrees program for Oracle OpenWorld San Francisco 2004, held December 6-9 at Moscone Center. This year's event will highlight current and upcoming business intelligence, collaboration, integration, grid computing and security technologies. The Exhibits 360 Degrees program provides attendees an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with these technologies and much more at over 300 partner booths, partner pavilions, customer showcases and Oracle Technology Network's (OTN) Guru Lounge. Features new to this year's event include the Protected Enterprise Security Pavilion, the Oracle Communities Pavilion, and the Industry Showcase. Exhibits 360 Degrees Program The exhibition hall will house more than 300 Oracle partners and customers offering education, solutions, technologies to address key business concerns. Major exhibits will include: -- Industry Showcase: Will highlight key industries and showcase the strategies and technologies that can help businesses survive and grow. -- Protected Enterprise Security Pavilion: Will provide education on the most innovative security solutions available from Oracle's strategic partner, and address how these solutions are solving business problems and helping to prevent costly security incidents -- Oracle Communities Pavilion: Will feature an overview of Oracle's community programs that address issues ranging from education, the environment and medical research to corporate social responsibility, diversity and volunteerism. Programs on display include the Oracle Education Foundation, Oracle Giving and Volunteers, ThinkQuest, Think.com and the Oracle Academy, Oracle Community Partners and Oracle Green Initiatives. -- Oracle PartnerNetwork Village: Will offer demos of the Oracle PartnerNetwork portal and Solutions Catalog. -- Oracle On Windows Pavilion: Will offer an overview of how Oracle and Microsoft work together, along with their partners, to support the Microsoft Windows Server 2003 and Microsoft .NET communities. The pavilion features demos and presentations by Oracle and Microsoft experts. Additional features this year include the BMW ORACLE Racing Pavilion, where attendees can watch BMW ORACLE Racing footage and previews of how Oracle technology helps the team prepare for the 32nd America's Cup in 2007, and the Team Oracle Pavilion featuring the Oracle Challenger aerobatics biplane and pilot Sean D. Tucker. Oracle DEMOgrounds The Oracle DEMOgrounds will feature Oracle experts from consulting, development and support who are available to provide one-on-one education on the latest products and technologies.
