ScaleMP to demonstrate virtualization at Supercomputing
Company to Exhibit Its Software Solution at ScaleMP Booth and Six Partner Booths; Company Founder and CEO to Present Session on System Aggregation Benefits for HPC Environments: ScaleMP, the leading provider of virtualization solutions for high-end computing, will demonstrate the ScaleMP vSMP Foundation at the Supercomputing 2008 (SC08) conference taking place at the Austin Convention Center, November 15-21, 2008. ScaleMP will exhibit its software in booth #1543, as well as part of joint solutions in partner booths with Dell, HP, Mellanox, Microway, Sun, and Western Scientific. vSMP Foundation is a leading-edge virtualization solution that aggregates multiple x86 systems into a single virtual shared memory system, reducing overall management complexity while significantly improving processing and memory capabilities. During the Exhibitor Forum, Shai Fultheim, the company's founder and CEO, will be presenting a session on "Reducing Complexity and Increasing Utilization of HPC Environments with System Aggregation." The session will take place on Thursday, November 20, from 2 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. local time. ScaleMP is also a member of the Mellanox HPC Advisory Council, and Fultheim will be part of the HPC Advisory Council BoF Session on the same day from 12:15 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. In addition, ScaleMP will present an overview of its virtualization solution for HPC at various partner booths, including Dell, Intel, Mellanox and Sun. SC08, sponsored by the ACM (Association for Computing Machinery) and the IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Scalable Computing and the IEEE Computer Society Technical Committee on Computer Architecture, will showcase how high performance computing, networking, storage and analysis lead to advances in research, education and commerce. This premiere international conference includes technical and education programs, workshops, tutorials, an exhibit area, demonstrations and hands-on learning.
