Wallach to give keynote at reconfigurable computing conference
Steven Wallach, co-founder and director of Convey Computer Corp. and the 2008 recipient of IEEE's prestigious Seymour Cray Award, will deliver the keynote address on "Processor Architecture: Past, Present, Future" at the Second International Workshop on High-Performance Reconfigurable Computing Technology and Applications (HPRCTA'08) on Nov. 17 in Austin, Texas. Held in conjunction with SC08, HPRCTA provides a forum for academic researchers and industry to discuss the latest trends and developments in the high-performance reconfigurable computing and to set a research agenda on the use of FPGA technology in high-performance computing.
