A complete seminar schedule is available at its web site. "These events are terrific opportunities for the CAE community and the trade media to learn more about what's new in CAE," said Jeff Brennan, vice president of Altair's Commercial Software business unit. "Seminar series attendees will gain valuable insight into how advancements in CAE technology are driving a robust product design process in a wide variety of industries, as well as have a chance to network with other engineering professionals." A number of recent CAE developments will be discussed during the seminar series, including advancements in solid meshing; model morphing; stress- constrained topology optimization; free-size and shape optimization; integrated finite-element and kinematics analysis; performance data management; and virtual manufacturing. Altair will also unveil a new HyperMesh graphical user interface as well as introduce its new multi-body dynamics solution. Seminar attendees will receive a comprehensive overview of the latest trends in CAE and an introduction to upcoming Altair HyperWorks 8.0 functionality. They will also learn how Altair's industry-proven, open- architecture engineering framework can reduce the time to market to produce innovative, robust products.
