Teranode Extends Analytic Design Automation

TDS 2.5 enables users to predict and analyze experimental data using the comprehensive databases of pathway models from KEGG and simulations using MATLAB routines. Lab professionals can now easily reuse KEGG models and MATLAB simulations as part of their analytic workflows or for reporting boosting productivity and streamlining experimentation. In addition, users can leverage TDS 2.5's visual collaborative environment to simplify exchange and analysis across scientists and labs in complex research. "As a licensed KEGG developer, Teranode is working to improve the reach and value of systems biology information available within KEGG," said David Leangen, Licensing Manager, Pathway Solutions Inc. "We have an excellent working relationship with them." The Teranode Difference TERANODE Design Suite puts experimental data and systems biology information to work enabling prediction, experimental design, analytic workflow and reporting providing closed-loop R&D. In direct contrast to general purpose spreadsheets and databases, design automation software is purpose-built to capture and reuse experimental data and system biology information in a domain-specific language called VLX. VLX enables TERANODE Design Suite to intelligently provide a comprehensive automation throughout the lifecycle of experimentation to benefit the scientist. TERANODE Design Suite 2.5 extends design automation and enables scientists to create or reuse analytic models and model libraries. Key features of the TDS 2.5 platform include: -- Pathway Database Access TERANODE Design Suite 2.5 now includes KEGG integration giving licensed users access to more than 18,000 public pathway models and also includes visualization and annotation capabilities using KEGG models as well as hyperlinks to KEGG and other databases. -- Simulation Export Capabilities With MATLAB integration features scientists are now able to visually define and manage biological MATLAB simulation models as well as annotate, version and share these models. -- Performance Improvements TDS 2.5 dramatically improves benchmarks with large data sets. -- User Interface Improvements Enhanced UI library includes new "edge types" and annotations. "Scientists want more access to systems biology information and analytic libraries, but they don't have the inclination or time to learn the programming and data extraction that some systems entail," said Joseph Duncan, CEO of Teranode. "TERANODE Design Suite 2.5 opens the door to this critical information for everyone with a collaborative, visual environment for reusing vast stores of information and analytics." Pricing and Availability Pricing for TERANODE Design Suite 2.5 begins at $1,000 and is available immediately for purchase. For additional pricing information please email sales@teranode.com.
