Under the terms of the agreement, Pharsight will work closely with Wyeth to implement the Pharsight(R) Knowledgebase Server(TM) (PKS), PKS Reporter(TM) and PK Automation Services into its drug development process at Wyeth's Collegeville, PA, and Pearl River, NY locations. Pharsight's entire PKS Suite offers pharmaceutical companies high-performance, reliable tools for PK/PD analysis and a methodology that helps maximize resources and speed decision-making during the drug development process. PKS is designed to enable pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical companies to better manage and help control pharmacokinetic data in compliance with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's (FDA) regulation, 21 CFR Part 11, which has set new standards for computer system validation and usage. In addition, PK Automation Services assist clients in developing automation tools to dramatically reduce the work effort and cycle times associated with routine PK/PD analysis.
