HPC Data Management Conference Focuses on the HPC Data Explosion
The Data Intensive Computing Environment (DICE) will host the fourth annual DICE Alliance conference on high performance computing May 18-20, 2009 at Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio. The conference will bring together thought leaders in HPC data management from all sectors of research - government, industry and academia – to discuss the HPC data explosion and solutions that will help research take control.
This year’s lineup will be headlined by keynote address Be Careful What you Wish for by John "Jay" Boisseau, Ph.D., of the Texas Advanced Computing Center/University of Texas at Austin. The presentation will focus on how to deal with the data dilemmas created by Petascale computing in interesting and novel ways.
