NCSA's Merle Giles to speak at HPC Adoption '09

Merle Giles, leader of NCSA's Private Sector Program, is one of several experts who will lead a symposium as part of the 2009 High-Performance Computing Adoption Conference May 11-13, 2009, at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco Airport Hotel.

The conference, sponsored by RTI International, will define the challenges of high-performance adoption and provide solutions for scaling the innovation curve. The program will feature policy and market experts as well as thought leaders from industry and academia who will offer strategic insights into success in adopting high-performance computing.

Giles along with Cynthia McIntyre of the Council on Competitiveness, Austars Schnore of GE Global Research, and Tom Lange of Procter and will lead a half-day preconference symposium offering companies and organizations the opportunity to make dramatic improvements in efficiency and competitiveness.
