Join a team of researchers developing the HUBzero platform for scientific computing. Develop toolkits for simulation, modeling and scientific visualization. Create new mechanisms for distributed computation on national Grid resources including the TeraGrid and the Open Science Grid. Engage scientists using this platform at universities throughout the world, and teach them how to access tools online and create new tools and new hubs. Create and guide research programs to add new capabilities to the platform, and deliver production-ready software to thousands of users worldwide. Continuation of position is dependent upon obtaining research funding support. The Rosen Center for Advanced Computing provides advanced computing resources and support services including access to leading-edge computational and data storage systems, as well as expertise in a broad range of high performance computing activities to support the computationally-intensive research of Purdue faculty, staff and research partners nationwide.
