Paradigm to showcase new technologies at SPE 2008 ATCE
Technical demonstrations to feature latest geological applications: Paradigm, a leading provider of enterprise software solutions to the global oil and natural gas exploration and production (E&P) industry, will showcase its latest technologies at the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition (ATCE) in Denver, Colorado, September 21-24. Paradigm's latest E&P technology will be demonstrated at Paradigm's booth (# 627) with live technical presentations starting every 45 minutes. The Paradigm technical program planned as part of its regular participation in the SPE annual technical conference will include workflow presentations connecting formation evaluation, well planning, and uncertainty assessment with the latest geosteering and reservoir modeling technologies. One-on-one demonstrations are available for pre-scheduling upon request featuring Paradigm's solutions for formation evaluation, reservoir modeling, pore pressure prediction, and well planning and drilling. "The Society of Petroleum Engineers annual conference provides an excellent opportunity to connect with the world's leading reservoir and drilling engineering professionals," said James Lamb, Paradigm's U.S. regional vice president. "This year's theme, 'Continuum of Innovations' highlights Paradigm's unconflicted commitment to breakthrough technology that serves both energy provider and energy consumer interests." Conference attendees can attend a presentation on Paradigm SKUA (Subsurface Knowledge Unified Approach) software, given by Jean-Claude Dulac, Paradigm's executive vice president and chief architect, on Monday, Sept. 22 from 3:30 - 4:00 pm in the SPE exhibitor's showcase theatre. Directly following, Emmanuel Gringarten will present a paper co-authored with Computer Modeling Group, Ltd. titled "New Grids for Robust Reservoir Modeling," at the ATCE technical session (4:35 - 5:00 pm).
