NCSA offers workshop for new TeraGrid users
The National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) will hold a workshop Sept. 23-25 to help researchers take advantage of the computing resources offered by the TeraGrid. This workshop is intended for:
- researchers who run scientific application codes on local computing systems and who are interested in scaling up their codes to run on TeraGrid systems;
- researchers who are new to TeraGrid and high-performance computing systems; and
- researchers who would like assistance porting their codes to these systems.
Details on the workshop, including the application, are available online at training.ncsa.uiuc.edu/Workshops/new_user . Limited travel and housing support is available to support participation of researchers from minority-serving institutions and institutions in EPSCoR states. If you would like to be considered for travel support, please note this in the "Additional comments" field of the application. Support for the workshop is provided by NCSA, TeraGrid, the Broadening Participation in Computing program, and the National Science Foundation.
