CSC Awarded Share of NSA Blanket Purchase Agreement
EL SEGUNDO, Calif. -- Computer Sciences Corporation (NYSE:CSC) is one of four companies selected by the National Security Agency (NSA) to provide information technology (IT) services under a five-year blanket purchase agreement. CSC estimates the value of the company's share of the award to be approximately $300 million if all options are exercised. CSC will provide IT engineering, technical and management services in support of the Information Technology Infrastructure Services (ITIS) program at the NSA Washington (NSAW) campus and NSA community sites worldwide. Services include technical analysis; systems and security engineering; hardware and software installation, maintenance and training; help desk support; and systems administration. Approximately 250 software engineers, systems engineers, systems architects, systems administrators, logisticians, technicians and support staff from CSC's Maryland Intelligence Center will perform the work at NSAW and other NSA locations worldwide.
