AVAKI Submits Secure Grid Naming Specification to GGF
By Steve Fisher, Editor In Chief -- Just yesterday, AVAKI Corporation, a company focused on commercializing comprehensive grid computing technologies, announced that it had submitted its Secure Grid Naming Protocol (SGNP) specification for discussion and comment at the Global Grid Forum taking place in Toronto. The specification submitted by Avaki is the result of some eight years of work primarily done by the company’s CTO Andrew Grimshaw at the University of Virginia.
