Engineered Intelligence Completes Move to New Corporate Headquarters

Engineered Intelligence Corp., the leader in parallel computing software, today announced that the company has completed the move of its headquarters operations from Fort Collins, Colorado to Menlo Park, California. With continued growth in business operations and expansion of staff requirements, the new headquarters offers significantly more space and will enable to company to be closer to its customers and its partners, including HP, Sun, Apple and SGI, and to better recruit professional talent from Silicon Valley. “We planned this move as we saw the opportunity to reach into the deep high-technology talent pool here in the Bay Area as we grow, and the chance to improve the interaction with our customers and partners,” said Matt Oberdorfer, EI’s president and chief executive officer. “With over 7,000 square feet today and additional space available when we need it, our new offices give us room to expand and meet increasing customer demand. We are building a technology leadership company in the best area in the country to do it.” Engineered Intelligence is undergoing significant expansions of its consulting, support and software development teams, who are currently at work producing new parallel programming and computing solutions, according to Oberdorfer. The company has just introduced a new version of MPI-XF, its extremely fast MPI library that delivers lower latency and higher bandwidth performance through standard network equipment. The new headquarters is located at 1360 Willow Road, Suite 201 in Menlo Park, off Highway 101, midway between San Jose and San Francisco airports.
