The Securitus VTL The Securitus VTL, which has a storage capacity starting at 3.75 terabytes, creates backup appliances that use arrays of inexpensive disks, a streamlined file system and inexpensive controllers to make the performance of disk economical for entry-level to very-large-scale backup environments. Using Securitus with the ADTX L Series and standard backup software, users can easily emulate the actual workflows currently employed with their current tape library infrastructure. Additionally, the Securitus VTL is certified with backup applications from Veritas(R) (NetBackup(R)), Legato(R) (NetWorker(R)) and CA (BrightStor(R), ARCserve(R)), among others.
