MSC.Software to Be Named One of Orange County's Fastest Growing Tech. Companies
SANTA ANA, Calif. -- MSC.Software Corp. (NYSE:MNS) , the leading global provider of virtual product development (VPD) products, including simulation software and services, today announced that it has been named to the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 50 Program for Orange County, CA, a ranking of the top 50 fastest growing technology companies in the area by Deloitte & Touche LLP, one of the nation's leading professional services firms. The Technology Fast 50 rankings are based upon percentage of growth in fiscal year revenues over a five-year period from 1998 through 2002. To qualify for the Technology Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at least $50,000 in 1998 and $1,000,000 in 2002, must be private or public companies headquartered in North America, and be a "technology company" defined as owning proprietary technology that contributed to a significant portion of the company's operating revenue. This year's Orange County Technology Fast 50 program is co-presented by Deloitte & Touche, Comerica, Focus Creative, McDermott & Bull, Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth, T Sector and in association with AeA, Promotions by Design and Software Council of Southern California.
