Announcing CUDA/OpenCL Fall 2010 Training Schedule from Microsoft and Acceleware

Acceleware has announced their fall 2010 comprehensive CUDA/OpenCL training schedule co-sponsored by Microsoft, including the first ever UK training class to be held in London, England.

Acceleware's training classes presented in cooperation with Microsoft are designed to support the HPC community by providing comprehensive learning opportunities for GPU programmers using CUDA and OpenCL while adding detailed instruction on Microsoft's HPC Server 2008 cluster operating systems. Attendees to the course experience a combination of classroom lectures and hands-on assignments from some of the industry's most experienced instructors.

"We are excited to support Acceleware's training courses and build on the enthusiasm for these popular classes," said Stevan Vidich, Director Technical Computing Marketing, Microsoft Corp. "Hands-on training helps customers harness the power of high performance computing and parallel development to model reality and speed discovery."

"The strong demand from organisations committing to using GPUs as a key component of their HPC strategy has allowed us to offer an expanded schedule for the CUDA/OpenCL training courses this fall," said Robert Miller, VP of Marketing and Product Management for Acceleware Corp. "We are pleased with Microsoft's continued sponsorship in this program to deliver top-notch techniques to our mutual customers around the globe."
