CD-adapco Announces Oil and Gas Simulation Seminars

In the first half of 2007 CD-adapco will be holding a series of exclusive half-day seminars that will explore the business advantage that can be gained through the application of flow, thermal and stress simulation technology within the Oil and Gas industry.
Each of the seminars will focus on the application of simulation techniques to safety and hazard management and demonstrate how flow and thermal simulation can reduce costs and increase efficiency of existing processes and help to engineer processes that will meet future technological challenges. The first event will be held on in connection with the daratechPLANT 2007 conference in Wyndham Greenspoint, N. Houston. Starting at 12:30pm on Wednesday, January 31, the seminar will address “Flow, Thermal, and Stress Simulation Solutions for Downstream Hydrocarbon and Chemical Processing” The first European event will be held on Thursday, February 8, in the UK, at the Crowne Plaza Reading (close to the M4 corridor), and will include a presentation from Atkins Oil and Gas, highlighting some of the benefits that their client’s have realised through the application of flow-simulation technology. Additional seminars are scheduled for March 29 in Ravenna, Italy (in connection with the Offshore Mediterranean Confererence) and June 13 in Calgary, Alberta (in connection with Gas & Oil EXPO. Further seminars are planned for Aberdeen, Scotland; Stavanger and Bergen, Norway; and Southern California, as well as a series of 1-hour Oil and Gas Simulation Webinars. Our seminars are free of charge, but space is limited. To secure your place for any scheduled event, or to register interest for other upcoming events, please contact info@uk.cd-adapco.com.
