Altair Engineering Establishes Brazil Office

Altair Engineering, Inc., a global leader in innovative product development, advanced engineering software and grid computing technology, today announced that it has established a regional office in the city of Sao Caetano do Sul, Sao Paulo, Brazil. Altair Engineering do Brasil will provide sales and technical support for the company's HyperWorks suite of advanced product design and engineering software tools to regional manufacturers and the engineering community. Those customers include strategic international accounts such as Fiat, Ford, GM, John Deere, ArvinMeritor and Nokia. Valdir Mendes Cardoso is the technical manager of Altair Engineering do Brasil, and will oversee operations at the new facility.
