Dataram to Provide Memory for SGI

PRINCETON, N.J.--Dataram Corporation today announced an agreement with Silicon Graphics, Inc. (SGI). The agreement authorizes Dataram to market memory upgrades SGI(R) Origin(R) 3000, SGI(R) Onyx(R) 3000, SGI Origin(R) 300, SGI Onyx 300, and Silicon Graphics Fuel systems. Memory for these systems contains proprietary technology covered under U.S. patent numbers 6,115,278 and 6,215,686 previously granted to SGI. Under the new agreement, Dataram's memory offerings will be fully eligible for SGI service and support arrangements. SGI customers of Origin 3000, and Onyx 3000, Origin 300, Onyx 300 and Silicon Graphics Fuel systems may arrange for service by contacting the SGI worldwide service organization directly for support. Dataram and SGI have a long history of mutual agreements including the previous SGI(R) Origin(R) 2000, SGI(R) Origin(R) 200 and Silicon Graphics(R) Onyx2(R) licensing agreement signed in 1997. This agreement authorized Dataram to market memory for the systems that preceded the Origin 3000 series.
