Computer Modelling Group Announces Appointment of Vice President
Computer Modelling Group announced the appointment of Ryan Schneider as Vice President, Marketing, effective today.
Mr. Schneider joins CMG from Acceleware, a TSX Venture-listed company where he served as Chief Technology Officer since its inception in 2004. In 1998, Mr. Schneider co-founded Vortex Computing Inc., a consulting company and value-added reseller in the high performance computing market, where he was President until 2004. Mr. Schneider also spent time as a researcher at the University of Calgary where he investigated a technology to speed up computer simulation; studies which ultimately led to the founding of Acceleware. Mr. Schneider holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Electrical Engineering from the University of Calgary.

Dan Dexter has stepped down as Vice President, Marketing of CMG to accommodate the appointment of Mr. Schneider. This move is aimed at providing an appropriate transition period as Mr. Dexter has indicated to the Board of Directors his intention to retire prior to the end of the calendar year. Mr. Dexter will remain Vice President, Canada until his retirement.
