HP Hosts Symposium on Technology Trends in Computational Engineering
HP and leading computer-aided engineering (CAE) software vendors, engineers, and managers will gather Tuesday, April 3 at “The 18th Annual HP Symposium on Technology Trends in Computational Engineering” to review and discuss high performance computing (HPC) trends in CAE.
The one-day symposium features representatives from more than 20 prominent CAE software vendors providing in-depth technology reviews in four tracks: structural analysis, manufacturability and safety, computational fluid dynamics, and simulation data management. A fifth track on CAE computing technologies will feature presentations from HP, Intel, Microsoft and T2 Technologies on topics such as blade systems for high performance computing and how to optimize CAE applications. Suzy Tichenor, VP & Director of the High Performance Computing Initiative, Council on Competitiveness, will deliver the keynote address, “Out-Compute to Out-Compete: Driving Competitiveness with HPC.” A second keynote on “Ever Evolving HPC solutions for CAE” will be presented by Lee Fisher, Worldwide CAE Business Manager, HP.
