PTC Receives $2.4 Million PLM Order from Leading Engineering University

NEEDHAM, Mass., PTC, the product development company, today announced a new $2.4 million contract for software and services. RWTH Aachen has purchased PTC Windchill(R), including Windchill PDMLink, on behalf of the State of Nordrhein-Westfalen. RWTH Aachen was established in 1870 and is one of the world's leading engineering universities. PTC will supply RWTH Aachen and several other universities and engineering schools in the State of Nordrhein-Westfalen (Germany) with PTC's Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions. In addition to educational uses, the software will be used to support collaboration on interdisciplinary research projects. The software was shipped during PTC's first fiscal 2003 quarter. RWTH Aachen joins more than 1,400 universities worldwide in using PTC solutions to introduce the engineers of the future to technologies supporting Product Lifecycle Management.
