Bright Computing Wins Intel Cluster Ready “Pathfinder” Award

Bright Computing announced it has won the Intel Cluster Ready Pathfinder Award. Recognized at the annual Intel Cluster Ready Partner Appreciation Breakfast held during the Supercomputing ’12 conference, Bright earned the honor based on the company’s contributions to the advancement of high performance computing (HPC).

Bright Computing was recognized for leading the development of Intel Cluster Ready Reference Designs for the E5 family of products, and for working with OEMs and integrators to make Intel Cluster Ready-compliant E5-based products available. Bright was also recognized for its integration of Intel Cluster Ready into Bright Cluster Manager, and for making it part of the standard cluster build. David Maples, SVP of Sales for Bright Computing, accepted the award on behalf of the company.

Bright Computing is demonstrating Bright Cluster Manager’s support for Intel Xeon Phi Coprocessors at the conference. Bright makes it easy to configure, use and manage Intel’s new coprocessor that speeds parallel application performance in clusters, while leveraging existing programming tools and methods.
