Mellanox Promotes Roni Ashuri, Marc Sultzbaugh to SVP
Mellanox Technologies has announced the promotion of Roni Ashuri to senior vice president of engineering and Marc Sultzbaugh to senior vice president of worldwide sales. Roni Ashuri will lead all of Mellanox’s software development in addition to his existing adapter and switch IC development responsibilities. Mr. Ashuri and Mr. Sultzbaugh will continue to report to Eyal Waldman, Mellanox’s president, chairman and CEO.

Roni Ashuri is a co-founder of Mellanox and has served as Mellanox’s senior vice president of engineering since December 2012. Previously, Mr. Ashuri was Mellanox’s vice president of engineering from June 1999 to December 2012. From March 1998 to May 1999, Mr. Ashuri served as product line director of system controllers at Galileo Technology, Ltd. From May 1987 to February 1998, Mr. Ashuri worked at Intel Corporation, where he was a senior staff member in the Pentium processors department and a cache controller group staff member. Mr. Ashuri holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the Technion — Israel Institute of Technology.
Marc Sultzbaugh has served as Mellanox’s senior vice president of worldwide sales since December 2012. Previously, Mr. Sultzbaugh served as Mellanox's vice president of worldwide sales from April 2007 to December 2012. Mr. Sultzbaugh joined Mellanox Technologies in 2001 as director of high performance computing and director of central area sales, and was later promoted to senior director of sales in October 2005. Prior to Mellanox, he held various executive sales and marketing positions with Brooktree Semiconductor. From 1985 to 1989, Sultzbaugh was an engineer at AT&T Microelectronics. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from The University of Missouri-Rolla, and a Master’s of Business Administration from The University of California, Irvine.
