IEEE Cluster 2013 Conference Now Accepting Proposals
The organizing committee for the IEEE* Cluster 2013 conference is now accepting proposals for tutorials, technical papers, posters, panels, and visualizations. Hosted by IU's Pervasive Technology Institute, Cluster 2013 will take place September 23-27, 2013, at the Hilton Hotel in Indianapolis. All submissions are due March 29, 2013. (IEEE, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, is a professional association dedicated to advancing technological innovation. IEEE's sponsorship of Cluster 2013 is pending.)
"The Pervasive Technology Institute is proud to host this year's IEEE Cluster conference," said Craig Stewart, general chair of the event. Stewart is executive director of IU's Pervasive Technology Institute and associate dean of Research Technologies. "Cluster 2013 will be a great opportunity for the brightest computing minds to explore cluster technology and its innovations of tomorrow."
Cluster 2013 welcomes original submissions from researchers in academia, industry and government. Successful entries will feature innovative research in the fields of cluster, distributed and high-performance computing. Conference organizers are particularly interested in content related to:
- Current and future directions in cluster technology
- Clusters driving innovation in industrial and academic research
- Clusters in education and outreach
- Clusters and clouds in cyberinfrastructure strategy
- Clusters in distributed visualization
