New Members Bring Expertise in Areas of Object Storage and SuperComputing Storage Solutions for Active Archives

The Active Archive Alliance announced today that Cleversafe and CSC have joined the Alliance.  The addition of these two innovative members extends the reach of the Active Archive Alliance in promoting expanded solutions that help solve the issue of cost-effectively storing, securing and accessing rapidly growing unstructured data. The new members offer the Active Archive Alliance expertise, technology and thought leadership in Object Storage and SuperComputing. 

Cleversafe leads the industry in object-based Dispersed Storage implementations with over 15 billion objects stored across customers in media and communications, healthcare, geospatial and the federal government. “The Active Archive Alliance has paved the way, making it easy for companies to accommodate long-term data storage needs,” said Russ Kennedy, vice president of product strategy, marketing and customer solutions for Cleversafe. “We are pleased to be joining many of the biggest leaders and innovators in the storage industry to provide object-storage solutions as part of the Active Archive Alliance.”
