Bionovo Expands Scientific Advisory Board

Bionovo announced today that Dr. Zung Vu Tran will join the company's scientific advisory board. Zung Vu Tran, Ph.D., is a research professor in the Department of Preventive Medicine and Biostatistics at the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center in Denver and is a member of the University of Colorado Cancer Center's biostatistics and bioinformatics core. At the university, Tran teaches graduate-level biostatistics and is co-investigator and senior biostatistician for several ongoing clinical trials funded by the National Institutes of Health. Tran has received numerous peer-reviewed federal and foundation research grants, both as principal investigator and co-investigator. He brings to Bionovo more than 25 years of experience in biostatistics, specializing in the design and analysis of clinical trials. He also has served on numerous NIH study sections over the past 15 years, and has extensive senior-level management experience in academic and industry settings.
