RAID Plans for Demonstrations of New Product Releases at SC09

RAID Incorporated has announced that they will be participating in both SCinet and Xnet demonstrations to showcase the latest in next-generation high-performance technologies. In addition, Intel's new Nehalem EX CPUs for the HPC market will be on display. RAID will also be launching a series of new products and technologies at the SuperComputing 2009 conference in Portland, Oregon, including:

-- Xanadu 200 Series
-- Xanadu 210, Mid-range storage solution scalable to 132 SAS / SATA
drives
-- Xanadu 220, Enterprise solution scalable to 1,000 drives of SSD,
SAS, FC, or SATA
-- Xanadu 230, World's largest monolithic storage solution scalable
to over 2,700 drives

-- Performance demonstrations in Lustre using QDR InfiniBand with the new
Xanadu 220 monolithic storage solution capable of scaling to 1,000
drives powered by (4) Intel quad-core CPUs.

-- Cost-effective InfiniBand storage solution that scales to 720TB of
capacity with 1TB of cache in a 42U rack starting at $0.50 per GB.

-- High-density self-contained compute cluster with 128 Nehalem CPUs in a
42U rack that eliminates hot spots in the data center.

-- Parallel file system demonstrations utilizing Gluster and StorNext with
