Sun Japan Appoints Tomohiko Suetsugu to President

Sun Japan announced that its board of directors voted to appoint new representative directors (president and chairman). Effective April 1, 2006, Senior Managing Director Tomohiko Suetsugu will succeed Dan Miller as President. Miller will become Chairman of the Board and continue to lead the Japanese management team together with Suetsugu. The new appointments are designed to give a further boost to Sun's business in the next fiscal year that begins on July 1, 2006. Suetsugu, who has a thorough knowledge of the IT market and sales operations in Japan as well as diverse business experience and solid track record, will take charge of day-to-day business operations as president. Under his leadership, the Japanese team will unite even more closely to respond to customers' IT infrastructure needs. Miller will remain in Japan as chairman, ensuring smooth and effective execution of local strategies by tightening coordination with the U.S. parent company, and pursuing further growth of Japanese operations which are the cornerstone of Sun's Asia Pacific strategy. Suetsugu has been in charge of Sun's sales operations in Japan since 2004. He joined Sun in 1999 and took managerial positions in sales, mainly in the areas of software and partner programs. Prior to that, he was with IBM Japan and assumed many important positions in sales and marketing. He graduated from International Christian University in 1978.
