Seminar to focus on Open Science Grid

The next seminar in the Cyberinfrastructure Seminar Series will focus on the Open Science Grid, a grid computing infrastructure that supports scientific computing via an open collaboration of science researchers, software developers, and computing, storage, and network providers. The speaker will be Frank Wuerthwein, chair of the OSG Interim Executive Board. The talk will be held from 1 to 2:30 p.m. (CDT) on Tuesday, Feb. 21 at the San Diego Supercomputer Center (SDSC) and will also be available via the Access Grid Web site and as a live webcast at www.cichannel.org. The Cyberinfrastructure Seminar Series is organized by NCSA and SDSC.
