MSC.Software today announced that GARDENA, Germany, the leading European manufacturer of gardening tools and equipment has increased their investment in the CATIA V5-integrated products of SimDesigner. Used by engineers in the department of precision engineering, SimDesigner will be used for the simulation of stresses on plastic parts, gears and for parts subject to centrifugal forces. "In selecting SimDesigner for CATIA V5, GARDENA are typical of the increasing number of specialist manufacturers looking to enhance their design to manufacture process by empowering their in-house designers with a fully CAD-embedded simulation capability," said Amir Mobayen, MSC.Software, Corporate Senior VP, EMEA.
