On January 12th, 2005, John Carroll University became the 50th university to use Virtual Leader for one of its business courses. Virtual Leader from SimuLearn Inc. www.simulearn.net/leadershiptraining.html is the first and only leadership simulator where you can apply any leadership style you want in real time. You interact in a series of virtual scenarios populated with Artificial Intelligence characters. These characters will react and respond to you and to each other in real time (dialogue, body language, facial expression, challenge your authority, etc.). Your challenge is to recognize what motivates these virtual characters and how best to work with them while developing and improving your own interpersonal skills. In short, Virtual Leader is the only cost effective way that bridges the gap between theory and leadership practice in a business environment. Professors appreciate the high energy responses from their students and the reinforcement of their core curriculum principles. The students love the program because it allows them to practice and apply most of the leadership theory they have learned in class to an artificial intelligence driven simulator. In about a year, 50+ business schools recognized the power of Virtual Leader including; Yale, West Point, Penn State, Texas A&M, Case Western Reserve, Fordham, SUNY-Buffalo/Plattsburg, and Univ. of Texas at Austin among many others.
