RLX to Focus on Market Leading Server Management Business Exclusively

RLX Technologies announced plans to offer RLX Control Tower for all major blade and server platforms. This significant change in strategy is driven by customer and industry response to RLX Control Tower. Customers have repeatedly cited an inability to get adequate server management tools from their existing systems vendors. Customers have realized the benefits of running Control Tower across multi-vendor hardware platforms. Effective immediately, RLX will be working with key OEMs and server customers to provide the Control Tower management suite. From basic server monitoring and alerting to en masse provisioning and policy based automation, the flexibility and integration of Control Tower allows customers to save time and money. "Customers choose RLX because of our ability to manage servers better than anybody else," said Doug Erwin, Chief Executive Officer, RLX Technologies, Inc. "Today's Servers have to be dynamic, able to be repurposed on the fly, managed from a single console and handle mundane task automatically. Control Tower is the enabler behind these and many other key features that support the industry's move toward a lights out data center. We at RLX are dedicating all of our resources and efforts behind continuing to make server management a reality for customers on any platform." To support this strategy effective immediately RLX announced their exit from the hardware business. RLX is committed to provide hardware support to existing customers. All warranties for hardware purchased through RLX or its resellers will be honored. RLX will continue to provide Control Tower suite extensions to all customers in accordance with current support agreements.
